Leather Alterations
- Leather alterations require specialized equipment and skills, so we do most of our leatherwork at our leather department in our main St. Paul shop (1818 St. Clair Avenue).
- Fittings for leather alterations can be done at any of our shops, and we transport the clothing to our main shop for the alterations to be done. It is then sent back to the original shop for pickup.
- Common leather alterations are: replacing the lining on coats/jackets, replacing zippers, shortening sleeves, hemming pants and skirts, and patching holes and tears.
- If you have a complex alteration (changing the size of a garment for example) it would be best for you to go to our main store at 1818 St. Clair Avenue in St. Paul so our leather seamstress can do the fitting. Please call for an appointment (651-699-1544 or 651-699-0381).
